Two Scoops Web

Website redesign

A new website for your business that looks good, is fast and secure, and is easy for search engines and AI to read. Fixed price for the build, from $1,500.

When your website needs a redesign

A website needs a redesign when it no longer looks like your business, is hard to use on a phone, or worries you every time you think about it.

Someone might find you on Google or in ChatGPT, then come to your site to check you out. Your site is the proof.

  • You'd rather not send people to it. It looks older than your business does.
  • It doesn't say why people should pick you. It lists what you do and stops there.
  • It's hard to use on your own phone. You pinch and scroll to find your number.
  • The prices, hours or services on it are out of date, and changing them is a chore.
  • Every update notice makes you nervous, or the person who set it up is long gone.
  • Customers call to ask things the site should already answer.

If none of that sounds like your site, you may not need a new one. Do you need a new website? covers the signs a site is fine as it is.

What a redesign includes

A website redesign from Two Scoops Web is a new site designed for your business and built so Google and AI tools can read it, with the words written for you from a video call.

  • Designed for your business

It's made to look good and be easy to use, on a phone or a laptop.

  • Fast and secure

    Every site we build is.

  • Your facts, up front

Your words, prices and hours load with the page, with no extra steps before a search engine or AI tool can read them.

  • A way in for every visitor

An email address, a contact form and, if you take bookings, a plain booking link work for anyone, including an AI assistant helping your customer.

  • Calls and form fills

You can see where each one comes from.

  • Words written for you

You talk for about 30 minutes on a recorded video call and fill in a short form. We write it up, and you approve it.

Two rounds of changes are included, one list each. After that, a round is $150.

Nobody can promise a new site a spot in search or AI answers, us included.

What happens to your current site

In a redesign, Two Scoops Web builds a new website to replace your current one, and every old page address points to its new page, so links people saved still work.

Your current site stays up until the new one goes live.

We don't patch or rework the old site. We build new.

We can move your words and photos over. We quote the move after a free look. How moving your content works.

Or skip the move. Your words can come from the video call, and we write them up. You bring the photos, and missing ones never hold up the build.

Your email address can stay as it is.

What a website redesign costs

A website redesign from Two Scoops Web costs $1,500, $3,500 or $6,500 for one of three fixed-price builds, plus a quote for moving your old content if you want it moved. The build is paid half to start and the balance before the site goes live.

The build price is on this page before we ever talk. If you go ahead, there's a contract, and the first half holds your spot.

Discovery holds 6 pages, Publisher 12 and a blog, and Coverage 24 and a blog, plus home, about, contact, terms and privacy, which every build gets. A bigger site, or a setup the three don't cover, is Custom, with free scoping, a free build plan and a fixed quote.

Discovery and Publisher take two to three weeks, and Coverage four to five, from the day you approve the written draft. Keeping the site online runs about $20 a month, and we set that up for you. Care, where we look after the site, is optional, from $100 to $200 a month. Compare the packages.

Getting off WordPress with a redesign

Yes. A website redesign from Two Scoops Web moves your site off WordPress, because the new site we build doesn't run on it.

If keeping WordPress updated has you worried, moving off is a fair answer. Add Care, and the security updates are ours to handle. We also check your site is running as it should. Each month, we make the changes you send us in one list, in one message. Without Care, we quote changes one at a time, and when your site needs a security update, we email you about it.

Your words and photos can come with you. Moving off WordPress has the detail. On another builder? See moving off Squarespace or moving off Wix.
