Two Scoops Web

How much a website costs

What it costs to build a business website with us: three fixed prices, what's in them, what changes the number, and what it costs each month after.

What it costs to build a website with us

Two Scoops Web builds websites at three fixed prices: Discovery is $1,500 for 6 pages, Publisher is $3,500 for 12 pages and a blog, and Coverage is $6,500 for 24 pages and a blog, each on top of home, about, contact, terms and privacy.

Each price is paid in two halves: half to start, and the balance before the site goes live.

If your site needs more than 24 pages, or a setup the three builds don't cover, it's Custom. Scoping it and writing the build plan are free, and the quote we give you from that plan is a fixed price.

Prices are in US dollars. Hawaii general excise tax is included in every price we charge, and there's no Canadian sales tax on the invoice.

What's included in the price

The price of every Two Scoops Web build includes the design, your words written up from a video call, two rounds of changes, and a site that Google and AI tools can read.

  • A site designed for your business, to look good and be easy to use on a phone or a laptop.
  • A site that's fast and secure, and doesn't run on WordPress.
  • Your words, prices and hours as plain text, ready for search engines and AI assistants to read.
  • An email address, a contact form and, if you take bookings, a plain booking link that work for any visitor, including an AI assistant helping your customer.
  • A link to a checkout or pay button you already use.
  • A way to see where your calls and form fills come from.
  • Your words, written for you. You talk for about 30 minutes on a recorded video call (two on Coverage) and fill in a short form. We write it up, and you approve it.
  • Two rounds of changes, one list each.
  • If you have a site now, links to your old pages land on the right new page.

Nobody can promise a new site a spot in search or AI answers, us included.

What changes the price

The cost of a Two Scoops Web website changes with how many pages it needs, whether it has a blog, and any extras you ask for, like moving your old site or more rounds of changes.

What you needWhat it costs
More than 24 pages, or a setup the three builds don't coverCustom: a fixed quote from a free build plan
Your words and photos moved off your old siteQuoted after a free look, before you sign
Research and writing beyond what you tell us on the callQuoted before you sign
A third round of changes, or more$150 a round

Pages are the big one, so count yours first. The three prices above are for 6, 12 and 24 pages, and the two bigger builds add a blog. Coverage is for a business with something different to say about each town or service it covers.

An online store isn't on the list at any price. We don't build them, and we can point you to someone who does.

What it costs each month after launch

A Two Scoops Web site costs about $20 a month to keep online, and we set that up for you.

It's separate from the build price and from Care.

Care is optional. With Care, we look after the site. Each month, we make the changes you send us in one list, in one message. What a website costs each month has the Care prices.

The $20 was last checked October 25, 2026. It doesn't include Hawaii general excise tax or sales tax where you are.

How to compare two website quotes

Two website quotes can be compared once each one answers the same five questions, about the price, the words, the monthly cost, what happens if you leave, and timing.

When two quotes for the same site land far apart, start with what each one covers.

  1. Is it a fixed price, and what does it cover?

How many pages, and how many rounds of changes?

  2. Who writes the words?

  3. What does the site cost every month after launch, and what does that pay for?

  4. If you stop paying monthly, or want to leave, does the site come with you?

  5. When does the clock start on the timeline?

We'd ask for the answers in writing, on the quote itself.

The monthly one is the easiest to skip, because it isn't on the first invoice. It's on every invoice after that.

Watch the last one. A timeline counted from the day you sign and one counted from the day your words are ready are two different calendars.

Here's how ours answer. The price is fixed, and we write the words from your call. Keeping it online runs about $20 a month, separate from the build. The clock starts when you approve that written draft: two to three weeks for Discovery and Publisher, four to five for Coverage. Cancel Care and your site stays yours, and if you ever decide to go it alone, we move everything to you or anyone you choose.
