Two Scoops Web

Website design in Canada

We build websites for Canadian businesses, each one designed for you and easy for AI tools to read. Fixed price for the build, from $1,500 in US dollars.

Where in Canada we build websites

Two Scoops Web builds websites for businesses in all ten provinces and all three territories of Canada.

  • Alberta
  • British Columbia
  • Manitoba
  • New Brunswick
  • Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Nova Scotia
  • Ontario
  • Prince Edward Island
  • Quebec
  • Saskatchewan
  • Yukon
  • Northwest Territories
  • Nunavut

We work from an office in LaSalle, Ontario, and every build runs over video calls. A shop in Iqaluit gets the same build and the same price as one in Windsor.

What every website we build includes

Every website Two Scoops Web builds is designed for the business, fast and secure, and built so Google and AI tools can read it.

  • Made for your business

It's designed to look good and be easy to use, on a phone or a laptop.

  • Fast and secure

It doesn't run on WordPress. With Care, the security updates are ours to handle.

  • Easy for AI to read

Your words, prices and hours are there when the page arrives, so nothing has to run before a search engine or AI tool can read them.

  • Easy to reach

Your email address, contact form and booking link, if you take bookings, work for any visitor, including an AI assistant helping your customer.

  • Where calls come from

You can see where your calls and form fills come from.

No one can promise a spot in Google or AI answers, and we don't. More on what AI-ready means.

Canadian businesses we've built for

Two Scoops Web built the websites for the Canadian Radon Services Index and Cayzu, both Canadian businesses.

The Canadian Radon Services Index is a dated, sourced index of radon in Canada, in English and French. We built it as Custom. Cayzu is help desk and ticketing software made in Windsor, Ontario. We built Cayzu a new website as Custom to move it off WordPress, and it launches soon.

Both are on our work page.

What a website costs in Canada, in US dollars

Two Scoops Web builds websites for Canadian businesses at three fixed prices in US dollars: Discovery is $1,500, Publisher is $3,500 and Coverage is $6,500.

Prices are in US dollars, and there's no Canadian sales tax on the invoice. You pay in two halves: half to start, the balance before the site goes live. What that comes to in Canadian dollars depends on the exchange rate when you pay each half.

A bigger site, a site in English and French, or a setup the three builds don't cover is Custom, with free scoping and a fixed quote. We translate the French pages by machine, then a French Canadian proofreader checks them.

Keeping the site online runs about $20 a month, separate from the build price. We set that up for you. Care, where we look after the site for you, is optional, from $100 to $200 a month. Compare the packages.

How a build works anywhere in Canada

Every Two Scoops Web build runs over video calls, so the steps are the same wherever your business is in Canada.

  1. Tell us about your business at Start a build, or email hello@twoscoopsweb.com.

We reply by email to set up a video call.

  2. On that call, we work out which build fits.

If you go ahead, you get a contract and an invoice. The first half holds your spot, and you can pay by credit card or bank transfer.

  3. You talk about your work on a recorded video call of about 30 minutes (Coverage gets two) and fill in a short form.

  4. We write it up as a draft.

The build starts the day you approve it: two to three weeks for Discovery and Publisher, four to five for Coverage.

  5. You get two rounds of changes, one list each.

You pay the balance, and the site goes live.
